To rename files and arrange them sequentially, select all files then right click on the first file then press F2. This will change all the other files with the same name but with suffixes (1), (2), (3)…

SHIFT+DOWN ARROW: Select a single file

SHIFT +PAGE DOWN:  select a large group of files at once

…And finally a bit on typing tricks

So these short cuts will come in handy while you are typing

CTRL+ BACKSPACE: deletes entire word behind the cursor making you delete text a bit quicker.

CTRL+ LEFT ARROW KEY moves cursor to the beginning of the word.

CTRL+RIGHT ARROW KEY moves cursor to the beginning of the next word.

CTRL+ SHIFT+ = gives superscripts (think exponents).

CTRL+ = gives subscripts.

One article cannot give you all the key board short cuts but we do hope you try these and make the use of your computer a lot faster…and smarter too. More “shortcut series” on the way. Hang on tight!
