How to create a restore point in windows 8

To create a restore point, follow these 4 steps:

On the start screen (you can also do these from anywhere in your PC with Win Key + Q combination)  type System Restore > select Settings in the Search pane to the right.

 On the pane to the left, click Create a Restore Point- This brings up the systems properties window.

   On the System Protection tab > click Create button near the bottom 

 In the next window, you are to type a name for your new restore point > click Create -you restore point will be created using the name. By creating your restore point, you can always restore you computer back to your restore point  if things go awry with your OS.
